Conventions And Trade Shows
Conventions and tradeshows are special events where people gather together to share information and ideas and showcase new products and technology. For an industry that is as broad and as dynamic as the transportation services and logistics industry, these events can serve as a medium or a bridge to connect key industry players (i.e., the transportation companies and their customers) and to discuss new opportunities and address issues and challenges facing the transportation and logistics industry. In the advent of the 21st century, in which many economies of the world are opening their doors to globalisation, a number of international conferences and trade fairs on transport have been created to deal with the trend. Among them are the International Conference on Transportation Logistics (TLOG), Transport and Logistics RIGA, and the Green Transportation & Logistics Summit.
