Start by choosing the correct container for the items. Utilise packing boxes that are specifically designed for moving. These are made of sturdier materials compared to regular boxes and will therefore give more protection to your belongings. Also look for appropriate materials to use as padding and wrappers. Bubble-wraps, old newspapers or used paper, foam, or old towels and sheets can be used. Make sure you have enough to stuff in between the spaces of your valuables to avoid any movement inside the box, or caused by outside forces. Wrap the pieces one by one before putting them in the box. The most important detail to pay attention to is how your items are packed. Heavier and sturdier pieces should be placed below as the base.
