Securely Sending Important Documents and Valuables
Trusting your personal papers or business files to a courier is no easy thing to do. But if you take extra precautions yourself, you can at least make sure you have done everything you can to safeguard your documents.
If your items are oddly shaped or have sharp edges, you can utilise padded envelopes. These packing materials are also ideal for pictures, CDs, DVDs, and other pieces of technology and breakables because it gives them protection from scratches and moisture. Keep in mind that the containers should be strong enough to safely hold the contents inside. Stuff polystyrene chips or bubble-wrap to avoid excessive movement of your items. Secure your envelopes with vinyl or nylon tape to prevent them from spilling out. You can stick a ‘fragile’ sticker to your mail if you have placed breakable items inside. Make sure that you write the complete address of your receiver, and the return address, with the correct postal code. You can search on the Internet for a list of postal codes.
